Crowding Bay Area dance floors with their distinct brand of entertainment, headliner Superbad is ready to stir up any party. 6'6" “Band Leader” Henry Lange embraces the audience with engaging character. "Superbad has a large presence and energy on stage, my job is to bring that energy to everyone in the room," expresses the lead vocalist. SuperBad performs a variety of musical styles ranging from the ’70s, '80s, '90s and today, working hard at maintaining a top-tier position in the Bay Area club circuit. Says Lange: "The band continuously works at keeping with current musical trends putting a current spin on a strong collection of standards in our repertoire".

Although a five-piece lineup, SuperBad produces a rich full sound: drummer/vocalist Shane Schlick and Bassist Jon Dostou drive the rhythm section, allowing accomplished guitarist Russ Pettit freedom to texture the top end. While Shane and Jon provide a sturdy base, Russ can play anything from a Motown rhythm comp to a searing jazz flourish. "I base each show on the tempo and feel of the audience, so it is essential that I have a group of pros that can respond. We like spontaneity, so every performance is exciting and different," notes Lange. In addition to a rock-solid lineup, SuperBad draws from today’s technology to broaden the bands sound and deepen the assortment of tunes. "If we need a horn section or an orchestral passage, Russ can trigger a keyboard arrangement that he has played and digitally sequenced with exacting detail".

SuperBad has recently performed at events for Microsoft, Quixey and @ The Bay Club Redwood Shores. The Band plays regularly at (The Silver Legacy Hotel & Casino) in Reno Nevada, (The Red Hawk Casino) in Placerville CA, (Thunder Valley Hotel & Casino) in Lincoln CA, (Cache Creek Casino & Resort) in Brooks CA, (The Fox Theatre) in Redwood City, (Britannia Arms) in Almaden, (Maggie McGarry's) in San Francisco.
